Emily Freeman

Emily Freeman graduates this year from the Drama and Theatre for Youth and Communities MFA program at UT Austin where she researches how interactive social justice theater for youth enacts feminist performance pedagogy. Emily is an applied theater artist, director, playwright, and teacher. She has worked for The John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts, Imagination Stage, Asolo Repertory, and Orlando Repertory Theatre. She received her B.A. in Theatre from Northwestern University.
