Micah Rosegrant (they/them) is a poet descending from islands colonially known as the Philippines and farmlands colonially known as the U.S. They sing for their ancestors, blood and otherwise. Currently, they are unlearning fear of their own rage to center presence, magic, and history in their work of locally dismantling oppression. Micah co-founded Asian American Theatre Artists of Boston (AATAB) and serves on the steering committee of Boston’s Asian Pacific Islander Arts Network.
