Roshan Institute for Persian Studies at the University of Maryland, College Park, The Theatre Times, and the University of Maryland School of Theatre, Dance, and Performing Arts presented 'Woman, Life, Freedom: Theatre and Protest in Iran,' a virtual roundtable in honor of World Theatre Day livestreaming on the global, commons-based, peer-produced HowlRound TV network on Monday 27 March at 8 a.m. PST (San Francisco, UTC -8) / 10 a.m. CST (Chicago, UTC -6) / 11 a.m. EST (Maryland, UTC -5).

Featuring Azadeh Ganjeh, Nassim Soleimanpour, Keyvan Sarreshteh, and moderator Marjan Moosavi, this conversation will explore Iranian theatre artists’ ethical vision and creative practice in response to the Woman, Life, Freedom movement.
