Discussion with American Book Award winner Jeff Chang about Who We Be: The Colorization of America
Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas presented a conversation with author Jeff Chang about his recent book Who We Be: The Colorization of America livestreaming on the global, commons-based peer produced HowlRound TV network on Wednesday 18 March at 8:30 p.m. EDT (New York) / 7:30 p.m. CDT (Dallas) / 5:30 p.m. PDT (Los Angeles).
The book examines multiple questions about race: "the greatest social divide in American life." How do Americans see race now? How has that changed—and not changed—over the past 50 years?
Co-presented by SMU’s Meadows School of the Arts Initiative for Arts + Urbanism, with the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs and the Embrey Human Rights Program.
