The Latinx Theatre Commons (LTC) will host a National Convening during the Encuentro 2024: A National Theatre Festival in Los Angeles, California!
The LTC will be partnering with the Latino Theatre Company to create programming specifically for the Commons during the second weekend of the festival, 30 October - 3 November, 2024. The full slate of events of the Encuentro Festival will take place over three weekends (24 October - 10 November, 2024).
Participants at the Encuentro will attend Festival productions, dialogue with artists brought in from across the country, and have dedicated time to wrestle with theatrical forms, themes, and conventions. We seek to bring current LTC Steering and Advisory Committee, our partners, and community members together.
The deadline to submit the RSVP interest form is Monday, 19 August 2024 at 11:59pm PDT. Our space capacity is limited so we will be reviewing all interest forms after the deadline to ensure we are “building out the room” with the most diverse pool of practitioners. You will be notified of your interest form status on Friday, September 6, 2024. Attending the Encuentro is free to all attendees, but you are responsible for your housing, travel, and food costs outside of provided meals.
