Lorella Loftus in association with The VORTEX presented Cuchulain (pronounced Kuh-HOO-lin), a re-telling of the myths of the Hound of Ulster, livestreamed on the global, commons-based peer-produced HowlRound TV network at howlround.tv on Friday 13 June at 6 p.m. PDT/ 8 p.m. CDT/ 9 p.m. EDT.
Cuchulain was inspired by the plays of W.B. Yeats. Set in the Irish Iron Age, Cuchulain’s mythical story vividly comes alive against a backdrop of beautiful masks and costumes, enriched by original musical composition, dancing, and stage-fighting.
